Eastcombe 1     Golden Valley 2

This was Eastcombe's worst performance of the season. All shape was gone not a single pass found a team-mate, tackles were missed and all in all a poor game with nobody doing anything to beat a team that hadn't won all season.

Golden Valley opened the scoring when Eastcombe watched the opposition have a free shot on goal and that is how it ended at half time.

The second half wasn't any better and although we pulled back the equaliser through the inevitable Tom Hannam within a minute total panic in the Eastcombe defense allowed GV to regain the lead. Despite the thought that they would lose the derby match not a single shot on goal was attempted by Eastcombe.

Management decided that such an abject didn't deserve a man of the match.
